131 Ponce is fantastic community in the heart of Midtown Atlanta with great amenities, courtyards and roof-top swimming pool. Bilson & Associates worked with the Owner and project architects to from Conceptual Design through Construction Administration to provide plans for the streetscape and amenities of the property. The streetscape features canopy trees, street lights, bike racks and planters with landscaping to enhance the pedestrian experience.
The swimming pool deck includes an outdoor kitchen with bar and outdoor TV. Decorative planters provide landscaping without blocking the incredible views to the City. The bar has a red counter top to match the 131 Ponce sign and the base is accentuated with the use of stainless steel tiles that sparkle in the sun.
The courtyards feature raised landscape planters, swing beds, fountains, and fireplaces. The large courtyard has a turf area that is used for bocce ball. No dogs are allowed in the courtyards, however, Bilson & Associates designed a small dog park on the property. The dog park is a private area, accessible directly from the building with turf, site furnishings, and a large colorful mural painted on the building wall.
